Probiotics for Digestive Bloating

Written by Dr Sandra Miranda, ND

Most people experience bloating at some point in their lives.  Our abdomen feels full and tight and in short just makes us feel lethargic, heavy and inflamed.

If you are experiencing digestive discomfort you be eating a food that you are intolerant to or it can also mean that you have an imbalance of good and bad bacteria.

Besides digestive bloating, other symptoms of such an imbalance includes:

  • Gassiness
  • Constipation / diarrhea
  • Yeast infections / Bladder infections
  • Eczema / dermatitis
  • Low immune system

You are at higher risk of having an imbalance of your gut flora if you have taken antibiotics, antacids, birth control pill, or hormone replacement therapy in the past.  A diet high in sugar, carbohydrates and processed foods will also lead to digestive imbalances. In addition, stress lowers our immune system leading to problems.

Taking a good probiotic can greatly help to decrease your bloating, regulate your bowel movements and decrease your sensitivities to so many foods.  Subsequently, healing and balancing your gut can lead to a healthier immune system and decrease your chances to being susceptible to other infections.

Wise XS Probiotic is by far the best probiotic on the market because it is a high strength, multi-strain probiotic in delayed-release capsules.  Delayed-release capsules ensure that all the beneficial bacteria is delivered to the colon and not lost in the stomach acid.
